Notes |
"A documentary/fiction film by Phil Noyce from 1971. The film begins with various scenes of people with cameras; a clapperboard reading 'Students Roll, 36'; continues with various scenes of a number of young men in various states of undress sitting on pit toilets in a tentlike temporary toilet block. There is a break at about 48'. The second portion of film, about 10', shows a naked man chasing a naked woman along a beach, he catches her and finds he is looking at a human skull, they roll on the beach, then there is a metronome ticking. The film is obviously incomplete. See NFSA component notes." An excerpt from this film can be seen in Episode 3 ("Billy Killed The Fish, 1968-73") of the ABC-TV documentary series LONG WAY TO THE TOP |
