NOTES

The original title of this short-lived series was The Great All-Electric Tap Dancing Show. It was brought in as a quick replacement for The Mavis Bramston Show after that series was abruptly cancelled mid-year, and most of the cast were from the last lineup of Mavis. Nancye Hayes is veteran stage performer and a star of TV, theatre, cabaret and musicals; Livermore went on to very successful stage career, starring in Hair, the role of Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar, Dr Frank-n-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show, and his own acclaimed one-man shows; Bryan Davies was a successful solo singer, a former Bandstand regular and had his own variety series on ABC in the early 60s; Johnny Lockwood, a vaudeville/Tivoli circuit veteran became a national star in the early 70s as shopkeeper Aldo Goldolphus in Number 96.
